Question: How to install the program ?
Solution: Go to download section of the website. Download and install the setup files.
Question: How to specify the shared folder ?
Solution: Click on 'Choose music folder' and specify the song folder.
Question: How to access the songs from remote computer ?
Solution: Go to amritradio.com . Create an account by registering . Download 'Amrit Radio' .
Run Amrit Radio on the computer your songs are stored. And then you can listen to your or your friends songs by going to www.amritradio.com and by logging in using your registered username. Enter your password on the next authentication page.
Question: I can't listen to my songs from remote computer.
Solution:
You may have to download and install JRE. The J2SE Java Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications.It can be downloaded from Sun java site at :- http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html.Click on the link which says 'Download J2SE JRE' .

Question: It still doesn't work.
Solution:
Please make sure that you click on 'Unblock' button when Windows asks for your permission to run this program.
Question: I am connected through router and Amrit Radio doesn't work. How to configure my router for this software to work ?
Solution: You may have to do port forwarding in your router for port 8788 and port 8789. Please refer to Router Port Forwarding Site. for more help.
Router is like a telephone exchange which in connected to many telephones.If a call comes for 'X' employee then its forwarded by the exchange. Similarly router forwards the request to your computer in a network.
Question: How to forward port 8788 and 8789 of my router ?
Solution: Please consult your router manual.
